Bangkok Dangerous International Trailer

The Pang Brothers have an occasion to bring a great movie to the western world by doing a remake of a really succesful Thai movie they directed, Bangkok Dangerous.
Starring Nicolas Cage this remake will be more palatable to European and American tastes.

This remake looks quite well done: I think Nicolas Cage accounts for a lot in this impression though.

Bangkok Dangerous Original Thai Movie

The upcoming movie Bangkok Dangerous starring Nicolas Cage is actually a remake of a Thai movie. The Thai movie was quite successful in Thailand and in Asia and was even nominated in film festivals in Canada and in Europe.

The Pang Brothers - who come from Hong Kong - directed this Thai movie.

I watched this Thai version of Bangkok Dangerous some months ago. This movie really catched my attention: I didn't get bored at all.

Let's hope Nicolas Cage will be at least as credible as Pawalit Mongkolpisit in the role of the hitman.

You're right: in Bangkok Dangerous Nicolas Cage does have the lead role.

But the Thai poster tries to refocus on Thai characters of course: after all it is Bangkok Dangerous!
